The Dometic/Seitz window latches to my mind have always felt weak and flexible. This over time seems to create cracks around the latches in the perspex. While making them very strong is really not possible bearing in mind the window itself is perspex and the latch is plastic. With some experimentation I have managed to design and 3D print in ASA reinforcers to the latch connection with the window, spreading the load wider while adding some security labels implying that the windows are protected electronically. The labels are just a deterrent, as there is no electronic protection with this design. You may wish to link micro switches into your alarm, but this is not my plan with this.
Each unit comes with new stainless steel screws as the originals would not be long enough. They are not suitable for the latches that are attached to the rams on the sides of the windows. They are only for the centre lower latch.
