Dometic Window Roller Blind Clip

Dometic Windows roll up/down blinds with broken plastic retaining clip that holds the blind in tension. These little gray clips have broken on two of my blinds now. So. I have made a 3D Printed replacement that is far stronger than the original. Straightforward to fit once the inner blind cassette has been removed. They are printed in PETG filament. Its only the sprung end that breaks. The other end is well designed and hardy enough to last the lifetime of the vehicle. Pictures below showing clip being fitted.

I can supply them for Β£8 each + Β£1.55 P&P Total Β£9.55

Dometic Window with roller net blind

Replacement 3D Printed Roller Blind spring Clip

Broken gray clip that holds the sprung spindle in place breaks and then roller blind will not roll up.

Remove the 2 screws and the defective clip. (Keep the Screws). Slide the new clip over the end of the spindle and then rotate to put tension in the roller blind spring, making it roll up on its on.

Place the new clip back into position while keeping tension in the roller blind spindle. This can be tricky. You must not let it go, as the spring will unwind violently.

New clip in position. Test the roller blind rolls back properly now, before refitting your cassette back in the van.
